2010 Hankook Young Driver of the year, Jonny Leonard, will this weekend embark on his works prepared prize drive at the Ypres Rally, Belgium.

Driving a Ford Fiesta R2, Jonny and co-driver Jackie Elliott will receive the full support of a professional motorsport team and Hankook Tyre technicians on the challenging and fast asphalt rally.

With 2 days of recce in advance of Thursday shakedown, Jonny has been settling into the IRC Paddock and familiarizing himself with the professional surroundings of the Hankook Team and chatting with Hankook team mates Toni Gardemeister and Tapio Suominen.

“The nerves were definitely kicking in as I signed on with the likes of rally professionals such as Andreas Mikkelsen and Freddy Loix, thankfully they were calmed somewhat as I met up with the other Irish teams whom are also competing at Ypres.” said Jonny Leonard.
