The first major investment by Hankook applies to all competitors in the 2010 Championship, and in all classes. The Hankook Registration Scheme is open to any competitor who signs up to exclusively use Hankook tyres and carry the official branding during each event (decals will be supplied at event sign-on) and they will be rewarded with a £50 voucher redeemable against their next purchase of Hankook tyres on each round that they start.

In order to qualify for the Scheme, competitors must complete a Registration Form and submit it to the NIRC Coordinator. Registration Forms will be available to download from www.hankook.ie and www.nirally.com one week before the first round of the Championship. The forms will also be available at Scrutiny & Documentation at each event.

Following on from the Hankook Registration Scheme, for those who register to exclusively use Hankook Tyres, and are competing in classes 1 & 2, the highest placed Group N Driver in the overall Championship standings at the end of the year will be treated to the Hankook Group N Prize Drive.
The winner of the Hankook Group N Prize Drive will have their entry fee, tyres and ferry costs paid to give them the opportunity to take part in a European round of the Intercontinental Rally Championship in 2011.
Again to be eligible for the prize, each driver must commit to using exclusively Hankook tyres and branding on each event.

The Hankook Junior Prize Drive will be awarded to a Hankook Registration Scheme driver who must be under 26 years old on 1st January 2010. The winner will earn an all expenses paid drive in an overseas International event in a works specification car during 2011. This is a major prize, which includes not just the supply of a works specification car, but also includes all travel, flights, accommodation, full servicing & backup crew, tyres, fuel, paid entry fee for the winning driver & his or her co-driver. Please note the co-driver does not need to be under 26 on January 1st 2010.
This award is not based on points scored in the Northern Ireland Championship during 2010, rather the winner will be chosen by a panel of judges who will monitor all registered competitors during the season. The participants will be judged not just on driving skills (which are obviously a very important element), but various aspects to include car preparation, presentation skills, determination, media skills, how they market themselves on event and before & after events.
The junior scheme will include several training days during the year and the participants will be assisted on various subjects including driving ability, personal fitness and nutrition, PR and promotion. The group will also be monitored on their abilities and the new skills learned during the course of the year by a panel of judges and the eventual winner will be announced at the end of the season.
To be eligible for this award, drivers must register for the Hankook registration Scheme & use Hankook tyres and branding throughout the year. Eligible competitors must participate in a minimum of 5 rounds of the NIRC in 2010, including a minimum of two gravel events and two tarmac events and must attend all planned training & assessment days.
