Hankook Junior Driver Training Day

Recently young drivers from the Hankook Junior Driver Championship participated in a Driver Training Day at the Rural College, Draperstown. During the course of the 2010 Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship, the Junior class of drivers are invited to participate in a series of training days to enhance various aspects of their motorsport careers.

The first of these training days centered around driver PR, Media Management and marketing as well as pre-event rally preparation and paperwork. Alos included as part of the outdoor activities were a series of team building challenges and exercises.

On hand to  speak with the Junior class of 2010 were numerous industry experts including Irish Tarmac Champion Eugene Donnelly, editor of Pacenotes magazine Simon Mooney and world renowned co-driver Gordon Noble.
Further Junior Driver Training Days will take place during the remainder of the season and cover such topics as driver fitness, sports psychology and vehicle preparation.  Full gallery of images from the day can be found below.
