This weekend at Mondello Park , Team Hankook’s Alan Sinnott will be hoping to continue his podium form as the Prodrift Series Round 4 takes place at the home of Irish Motorsport in County Kildare.

Driving the Hankook Toyota Corolla, Sinnott recorded his first ever Prodrift victory at this event in 2009 defeating a strong international field of drivers. This weekend however, the Carlow driver will be entering the event coming off the back of three consecutive third positions and will hope to go one step further by securing a place in the all important final.
Japfest ranks as the largest annual tuning show in Ireland and Team Hankok drivers Alan Sinnott & Alan Lenihan can expect to perform infront of a capacity audience. The fast layout of the Mondello Park drift course which includes a 90mph entry speed will test the performance of both machinery and grip levels of all teams. Team Hankook remain confident that their drivers will enjoy optimum traction and grip throughout the demanding course thanks to the recent development of alternative tyre strategies at previous Prodrift Events.

Speaking in advance of the event, Managing Director of Hankook Ireland Niall Murray explained “2010 has been a great season for all at Team Hankook . Our tyre technicians have worked closely with both drivers to develop a balance that delivers excellent performance and our results thus far are testiment to that. We are looking forward to Mondello Park and confident that both drivers will continue to challenge for strong results”.
